| Z January 15, 2004 08:24 PM PST Do u really think LOC is a good movie? Apart from the patriotic factor? I think Border was a much better movie n also some oldies like Haqueeqat. Ofcourse being an Indian, I would have definitely seen the movie, be it good or bad. But hello, what was JP Dutta trying to do? Make an magnum opus on war where all soldiers do apart from being in the battlefield is talk to their wives/girlfriends? What about the parents? And how can anyone miss out the repititive actions n scenes... Give me a break, huh? Yes the performances were good, the sentiment noble n the attempt good too. But as a movie, it fails.... No wonder it has sunk in the box office!! | ||

| Bharani January 3, 2004 12:02 PM PST Our contribution through our profession may contribute in a miniscule level to the organisation that we work for or to the economy of the nation, but hardly has far fetched effects on the nation's well being. We dont seem to do anything that can affect/influence a nation the way the army guys do. And that I feel is because we dont seem to have a REAL CAUSE ! | ||
| Chakra January 2, 2004 07:52 PM PST "The soldiers had a cause. What was/is ours ?" - Sometimes, I do think on those lines.. now I regret why during my teens I didn't aspire for joining the armed forces? No pt. in crying over the spilt milk now! Am just waiting to watch LOC - Kargil. | ||
