| bharani October 19, 2005 03:43 PM PDT sam, i guess sleeping to get fresh ideas was suggested becos it clears ur mind and lets u think from a fresher perspective. :-)...and yeah, when u are confused , the best thing to do is grab a pillow and crash...:-)) | ||
| Sam October 19, 2005 06:49 AM PDT Hey Dont ignore your dreams. There may be signs of some creative thinking in them. Remember, the benzene molecule was discovered in a dream. Havent you heard the adage which says "sleep over your problems". And next day you might find some fresh solutions? I sleep a lot because I am hoping I might have a windfall through some big creative crack through my dreams. :-) | ||
| bharani October 18, 2005 12:48 PM PDT that was funny !! ::))...symbollically, i would also imagine death means a logical end to something and a beautiful beginning to something....but then again, the interpretation of dreams is probably a sampling process...based on a series of samples of dreams..and comparing their similarities...oh well, we really dont know, do we ?? !! :-)...sometimes i really feel i shd just ignore them :-)).. | ||
| Sam October 17, 2005 12:11 PM PDT Certainly more logical than the interpretation that death in a dream signifies that a good event will happen in reality. Btw, if that was the case, why would they say 'sweet dreams" to someone going to sleep? They would have said 'bad dreams'. :-) | ||
| bharani October 16, 2005 10:44 PM PDT yes sam, i have come across that site...was quite interesting...the interpretations sounded very logical.. | ||
| Sam October 15, 2005 09:44 AM PDT Hi Have you checked out http://www.dreammoods.com ? Btw, i also had a similar experience of dream reduction when I slept in a different room. sam | ||
| bharani October 14, 2005 11:55 AM PDT hey sam...thanks...u kind of echo my thoughts on dreams. take care. | ||
| Sam October 12, 2005 12:11 PM PDT I dream like crazy. And my dreams sometimes scare me. They really have deep meaning though. Many a times it is an event or a personality from my home town which has been forgotten ---- it comes in some other form in my dream. In all cases, my dreams make a powerful impression on me even after I wake up. They give me tremendous insight into me about what my subconscious (for want of a better word) cares deeply about --- at least that is how I interpret them. Your blog is good. Keep writing. sam | ||
